We know why you don't buy art.

We believe that more people would buy original art if their own ideas had inspired the artwork.  We also know that budgets often run low after other aspects of a space are addressed.  It is nearly impossible to find existing artwork that fits the appropriate price range and at the same time, satisfies design and personal preferences.  CoCo Gallery has sifted through thousands of artist portfolios to find a wide range of highly talented professionals across the country, each excited to create one-of-a-kind paintings, just for you.

We support artists and their causes.

Having spent many years serving artists, Vani Krishnamurthy founded CoCo Gallery as a way to support the sustainability of artists’ careers.  Commissions can be an important source of revenue for artists who primarily create work inspired by their own ideas and even social causes.  Despite the demand for commissions, however, both artists and clients have trouble finding each other.  CoCo Gallery provides a marketplace for individuals and designers to find the right artist, one who is ready and willing to truly collaborate on a commission.

Inspire an artist to create something for you.  Ask yourself, #whatwouldicoco ?

We take care of the rest.

Vani Krishnamurthy: Founder and CEO

Vani is passionate about enabling artists to realize their commercial potential.  Her training as a professional dancer, combined with her business education and experiences, have enabled her to spend over a decade as a translator, moderator, and messenger between artists and their audiences.  She founded a consulting firm for arts organizations, collaborating with clients such as Lincoln Center, World Music Institute, and visual artists from around the world.  Prior to this, she worked at top-tier consulting firms such as Bain & Company and The Boston Consulting Group.  She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, received a Fulbright to India to study temple art and architecture, and has a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.  She lives with her husband, two daughters, and an inordinate number of crayons, markers, and paintbrushes. What would she CoCo?  An impressionist painting that depicts her perusing a medieval dance site in southern India, the most special of her field visits during her Fulbright.

Kerry joins CoCo Gallery as the Director of Marketing with a focus on test and learn. In her previous roles she worked to optimize test and learn strategies across businesses as well as acquisition and retention marketing. She started her career in children's publishing and then moved on to work at digital agency. Her longest role was at The New York Times as a part of the digital subscription launch, followed by optimizing the test and learn program. She's happiest at the beach with her son and dog.

What would she CoCo? It's a toss up between a portrait of her son and dog and her favorite place in Newport, Rhode Island.
